Jollibee Mango Jelly Sundae Price is PHP 63: A Must-Try Summer Treat!

After attending Palm Sunday mass with my family, we decided to do what many Filipino families love to do after church—head to Jollibee for a hearty snack with loved ones.

The line was long, as expected, but something new on the menu board caught our eye: the Jollibee Mango Jelly Sundae. We had seen it making rounds on social media a few days before, and being curious foodies, we decided to give it a shot.

“Bago ’yan ah,” my mom said as we stood in line, her eyes squinting at the brightly lit photo of the dessert. My brother, always the sundae fan, didn’t need convincing. “Gusto ko niyan! Try natin!” he blurted out with a grin. My little nephews, Jalenn and Mikoy, agreed.

At PHP 63 per cup, we decided to get a few for the family to share and judge for ourselves whether it’s worth the price and the hype.

First Spoon, Instant Smile

When our orders arrived, the Mango Jelly Sundae looked almost exactly like the ads—swirls of Jollibee’s classic creamy vanilla soft serve generously topped with golden mango cubes and glistening jelly. The contrast of the bright yellow mango and the clear orange jelly against the white ice cream made it look extra inviting, especially on a warm Sunday afternoon.

As we took our first spoonfuls, we were pleasantly surprised by how balanced the flavors were. The mango cubes tasted fresh and real—not the overly sweet or artificial kind you sometimes get in desserts. There was something comforting about it, especially since Mango is the Philippines' national fruit.

The mango jelly, cut into small cubes, was soft and had just the right amount of sweetness. It didn’t overpower the mango or the ice cream but added a nice texture and bounce to each bite. I must say, it made the sundae better by adding more texture - the chewy element versus the softness of the mango cubes and the sundae itself - and mellowing down the sweetness.

Classic Vanilla Still Hits the Spot

The vanilla soft serve itself was the Jollibee classic we all know and love. Creamy, milky, and smooth, it provided the perfect base for the toppings. We've had this ice cream countless times before, either in cones or in hot fudge sundaes, but paired with mango and jelly? It was a new kind of indulgence. The dessert felt both rich and refreshing, which is exactly what you want on a hot summer day in the Philippines.

Value for Money? That’s Up for Debate

Now, let’s talk about the price. At PHP 63, the Mango Jelly Sundae is on the steeper side for a fast-food dessert. In fact, it's inching close to the price range of Chowking’s Halo-Halo, which is packed with more ingredients—leche flan, ube, beans, nata, pinipig, and more. When you stack them side-by-side, Chowking’s Halo-Halo arguably offers better value for money.

My mom, ever the practical one, brought this up: “Mas sulit pa rin ’yung Halo-Halo, ’di ba?” We all nodded, acknowledging her point. With Halo-Halo, you're not just getting a dessert—you’re getting a full-blown Filipino summer experience in a cup.

But even with that comparison, I wouldn’t dismiss the Mango Jelly Sundae. It’s not trying to be a Halo-Halo. It’s a completely different kind of dessert—simple, fruity, and elegant in its own way. And besides, it’s a limited-time offer, which adds a bit of urgency. If you don’t try it now, you might miss out entirely.

A Sweet Summer Treat

The Mango Jelly Sundae may not win my best-dessert-for-your-money award, but it’s a treat worth experiencing at least once this summer. It offers a refreshing take on a Filipino favorite fruit, with a Jollibee twist that’s both playful and satisfying. More than that, it gave our family another small moment to bond over—one sweet scoop at a time.
